TransCentralPA is committed to providing advocacy
and caring support for transgender individuals,
their significant others, families, friends and
allies. TransCentralPA also provides gender
education and information to businesses,
organizations, educational institutions and
governmental agencies.

TransCentralPA Meetings:
Our
monthly gatherings provide a safe and nurturing
place for members and guests to meet together to
better understand, accept and take pride & joy in
their Transgendered lives. Our meetings are held at
8:30 PM (doors open approximately at 8:00 pm) once a month at the
Metropolitan Community Church of the Spirit located
at 2973 Jefferson Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110. For specific dates

Membership:
Membership is
open to all Transgendered individuals, their
Significant Others and to other persons who have a
personal or professional interest in a Transgendered
person or in gender behavior or theory in general
(all individuals must be 18 years of age or older).

The
PRIDE FESTIVAL OF CENTRAL PA is looking for
VOLUNTEERS to help make this event a
complete success. Common areas that
are in need, but not limited to include:
1) Two
days before (Thursday, July 25th) – set
up… ask for details
2) The day before (Friday,
July 26th) – set up… ask for details
3) The day of events
(Saturday, July 27th) – assisting with
vendor set up, grounds keepers, and
ticket
sales at North & South Gates
4) The day after (Sunday,
July 28th) – close down… ask for details
By
just volunteering at least one hour on
(Thursday, Friday, OR Sunday) AND two hours
on Saturday, you will be able to enjoy three
free hours of entertainment, $5 off at a
food vendor, and a free T-shirt! Also,
you will receive an invitation to the
Volunteer Appreciation Picnic (Date and
details TBA).
